As a licensed Mental Health Clinician I found Sex, Love, and your Personality a fabulous resource and informative not only about the enneagram but the hidden dynamics between couples. Mona Coates delves deeply into the human psyche to explore why people react to another individual's personality on the conscious, subconscious and unconscious levels. She brings John Money's "Love Map" to the reader in a very easy to read and comprehend style. She applies it and four other factors in determining the success level of each of the cases she writes about. I look forward to the sequel!

I have read a lot on the enneagram and the various personality types but have always wished for more detailed and practical information on how the types relate. I could not have found a better resource than this.
On completion of this book I had an objective 'feel' for what the strengths and challenges for many ennea combinations are. The 5 point model used as a measure for relationship health will assist anyone in understanding what attributes make a good partnership in the context of the enneagram & psychology in general.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in personal growth through intimate relations.
If you're exploring the enneagram and are interested in the way people relate to each other, I promise this will be an interesting read. Having been intimately involved with the Enneagram for over 15 years it is always refreshing to find a book that manages to look at the Enneagram through a new lens. This book will appeal to both people new to the concepts and to experienced Enneagram users.
The wonderful case studies bring to life the enneagram and concepts of sub types in an interesting and easy to read format. It also introduces insights into the chemistry of attraction and compatibility. Mona and Judith have a very relaxed and personable writing style that makes this book so easy to read.
